Elon Musk the iconic replaces Twitter bird logo with a dog icon. Elon Musk has changed the Twitter logo, bidding goodbye to the signature bird logo, and replacing it with a doge meme. When you open the Twitter web, the loading screen will show the new Twitter logo of Kabosu, the Shiba Inu that inspired the Doge meme.
Instead of a blue bird, Twitter’s microblogging service will now be recognised by the Shiba Inu of the altcoin Dogecoin. As a result, Twitter has been inundated with parodies, and the price of Dogecoin has begun to soar. Musk is making fun of himself for altering the Twitter emblem. Let’s not forget that Elon Musk has backed the altcoin Dogecoin.
Twitter’s recognisable bird logo has been replaced with a doge meme thanks to a modification made by Elon Musk. The new Twitter emblem of Kabosu, the Shiba Inu who served as the model for the Doge meme, will appear on the loading screen when you access the Twitter website. The same image has also taken the position of the display picture on Twitter’s home page.
Twitter was purchased by Elon Musk last year for $44 billion. They do, however, have a history with Dogecoin. Additionally, he is being sued over this. In reality, he tweeted on Twitter in favour of this cryptocurrency. Following this, he was charged with operating a pyramid scheme to support Dogecoin and fined $25 billion.
A few days ago, that is. Musk was tweeting back and forth on Twitter. Then Chairman, another user, made a remark and advised changing Twitter. He actually desired to purchase Twitter. Musk changed the Twitter logo but didn’t transfer the company.
Elon Musk tweeted a screenshot of a discussion with the caption “as promised” to reveal the new logo. The discussion between Musk and “Chairman,” whose handle on Twitter is “@WSBChairman,” is captured in the screenshot. In it, Chairman suggests “just buy Twitter” and “change the bird logo to a doge.” Musk replied, “Haha that would sick,” in response.
Many people think that this could be much larger than just an April Fool’s joke that arrived two days late. The price of the altcoin Dogecoin has increased by 10% as a result of this little prank. It is still less expensive than it was in May 2021, though.
Notably, Musk is being sued for $258 million for racketeering after it was claimed that he ran a pyramid scam to advertise Dogecoin.
An Updated Logo and Checkmarks
In other developments, Musk declared that, as of April 1, all legacy accounts on the platform will no longer have blue checkmarks. While the verification icon has reportedly disappeared for many users, Musk reportedly does not have enough employees to complete the process more quickly.
The Twitter logo has undergone modification. Musk tweeted this evening, late Indian time, that he had kept his word. The Twitter logo has been modified by him to mimic the well-known cryptocurrency Dogecoin. This Dogecoin cryptocurrency’s Dogecoin emblem was designed in 2013 for Shiba Inus. Additionally, it is a joke. Let’s assume that one of the goals of taking this canine picture was to mock cryptocurrencies. Musk made this decision in response to some queries posed by a Twitter user. Actually, Chairman, a Twitter user, asked Musk if he wanted to purchase Twitter and change its logo to look like Dogo. Elon Musk responded at the moment with a smile. But this morning around one in the morning, he tweeted that I had kept my word.
